Comparing the iRobot Roomba 700 Series including the 760, 770, and 780
The Main differences are as follows:
·
The 780
is the ONLY model of the 3 that can
function with the Virtual Lighthouses. Which means it’s the only one that
will self Navigate Room to Room. The
other 2 can only use Virtual Walls as a navigation aid.
·
The 760 uses the
Previous version of “Dirt Detect” which only uses acoustic sensors for dirt
detect. The 770 and 780 use “Dirt
Detect Series 2” which employs optical and acoustic sensors.
·
The 760
does not have the “Full Bin Indicator” whereas the other models do.
·
The 780 also has “Touch Pad Controls” and the other 2 do not.
·
Finally the 780 kit includes an
extra set of Brushes and the other 2
do not.
