Well it has been a while since we've worked on the car, but we're getting the Bodywork underway. The first basic step is to check for any "major" problems. Primarily rust and frame integrity. First we hit the "well known" problem areas by removing the paint and determining what needs to be repaired..Somewhat at the same time we started choosing the best parts of the various doors, fenders, trunks, and hoods that we have. Once we picked out the best that fit with this body style we started re-fitting them to the car to determine where there might be problems.As you'll see in this video we did find a problem area in the rear which will probably require a few tugs from a frame straightener. More to come, so stay tuned. |
