In Memory of
Willard "Pete" Kurtz
Father of Rebecca, Daniel, Ruthann and David

Pete passed away September 3, 2009. Services are being held Thursday, September 10, 2009

You can find the announcement in the Morning Call here or in the links section of Pete's Page

I've been working on pages for Individual family members for a while now. For obvious reasons I wanted to make sure Pete's page was being worked on first. I've completed a bit of the Photos and Information and there is more to come.

Internet Explorer 8
I recently corrected a problem with the Menu on the site when running in IE8. If you experience any problems with the website please don't hesitate to report them to me so I can correct them. Please take a minute to also read this article on using IE8 in Compatibility Mode which helps when experiencing problems with browsing with IE8.

Baby Robins Leave the Nest!
The babies left the nest on 5/28! They were all successful from what we can tell, which is great news. You'll find the rest of the videos we took from 5/22 and 5/27 in the wildlife section. Luckily I got video of their last day in the nest on 5/27 and I happened to catch one of them hopping around on the 28th. Read the whole story included with the final video!

Jake's Photos
Today I received 2 great sets of photos from Jake. One set is from today in the House section where we were working on some modifications to the pool deck. The other set is from December of last year when they took a trip to the Aberdeen Proving Ground. Both sets are awesome and are a must see not only for the quality but for the composition as well. Nice Job Jake!

Baby Robins!

A couple additions and improvements.

Lotsa Stuff!
Quite a few additions and improvements.
I added pictures and video to the Summer, Boating, Christmas, Bear and Minnie, Wildlife, and Michael and Ruthann's 1st Floor Project Galleries.
I also made some improvements to the video and photo viewers by adding the ability to "View All" pictures as a drop down choice in each gallery and added the description to the video viewer.

As promised, I added a section to Bear and Minnie's Gallery to highlight ALL of Bear and Minnie's cousins who call Pennsylvania Avenue home.

Be careful though, they're dangerous, they're armed to the teeth with adorable, funny, and cute!

Sad News - Lolly 1997 - 2008
On the 11th of December we all lost a great dog. Lolly's sudden passing was a shock to us all. She was loving and full of energy and we loved her for it. We will miss her greatly. Our hearts go out to Jacob, Harlan, Samara, Michael and Ruthann as they face the parting of their family member. You can find pictures to remember Lolly by in Bear and Minnie's Gallery and shortly I will be putting up a page in her memory.

Busy, Busy, Busy!
Lots going on with the site. I added pictures and video from our Florida trips from this year and last year and added some comments about the pictures as well. I also added a few pictures of the repairs to the Neons. Not to mention the fact I made a few enhancements to the function of the site.
